Principles

My first
principles.

Twelve beliefs I do not negotiate on. They decide how I work, how I treat people, and what good looks like when nobody is watching.

Rules tell you what to do. Principles tell you how to think. A rule can be followed mechanically and still miss the point. A principle, once it is yours, guides thousands of small decisions you will never write down. These twelve are mine. I hold myself to them first, and the teams I work with after that, gently, consistently, without ego.
